Exploring the Faroe Islands — Group Travel on a Pink Bus

Traveling with a group to the Faroe Islands and Iceland in July 2022, my photos are on Instagram.
A Swedish company called Pink Caravan “Rosabussarna” has been around since 1970. They do group trips on a budget, famous for their pink buses. About 50 000 people based in Sweden have traveled with Pink Caravan. I am one of those persons who have been on several trips, in 2009, 2012, 2013, and 2016.
The trip to Faroe Island and Iceland was my first trip on the Pink Caravan, where we lived on the bus. Which means eating, sleeping, and being on the bus for the whole journey!
I slept all night on the roof of the bus, except for 2 nights which we spent in a cabin on a ferry. This trip took place from 1–15 July 2022.
The roof was set up every night on the bus. You can see how the mattresses are laid out and it got pretty cold at night. 2 ladders to climb up and down. Be sure you do not have to visit the toilet in the middle of the night. Get used to snoring from your loud neighbors. No escape and no privacy.
