When travelling, one of my top concerns is what I’m going to eat. Finding foods that are both gluten-free and dairy-free can be difficult, so much so that I often carry dry goods, such as gluten-free cereal, granola bars and cookies in my carry-on bag and checked luggage. I even pack my own lunch for the plane ride. So it’s always a relief once I land to find restaurants that offer food that meets my dietary restrictions. Over my seven-day trip to Barbados in August 2023, the following venues provided some of my most memorable meals while on the island.

Self-proclaimed as the most Instagrammable café in Barbados, Blush offers both a feast for the eyes and the palette. It’s located on the property of Sugar Bay Barbados in Hastings, and offers breakfast and lunch on weekdays and brunch on weekends. On my three visits to the café, I tried the ABC…
