D o you know your main destination but have extra time to check out cool roadside attractions? Going on a business trip and want to find the best local restaurants? Want to avoid the overhyped and touristy areas and find hidden gems?

While I could write forever on this subject, today I just want to talk about this gold mine website I’ve been using for years.

And that is Roadtrippers.com!

Here’s a few reasons why you should check it out.

To start, all you have to do is input your starting destination and your ending waypoint (or somewhere along the way you want to stop).

From there, you can type destinations you want to add to your trip, or use their nifty icons to find stops along the way. Categories include bars and restaurants, outdoor recreation, tent spots, hotels and unique stays, tourist attractions, entertainment and nightlife, experiences, shopping, and more.

Most waypoints have reviews from other travelers who share their thoughts, photos and tips to help out whoever visits next.

Each trip you create shows info such as total miles, estimated gas cost based off your vehicle, routing options, travel time to each destination and you can even add your road trip squad so they can contribute as well.

Once you’re done planning your trip, you download their app to your phone to navigate through all of your waypoints. You can also change and add stops while on the road.

Pretty nifty, right?
