Beautiful beaches, Kente cloth, and culture galore… travel to Africa, and you’ll find no better place with a richer history and friendlier people than Ghana.

This West-African country sits just below the Saharan desert and boasts some of Africa’s most resource-rich areas of gold, diamond, palm oil, and even bauxite… something you may not have realize is actually used to produce the aluminum airplanes and kitchen utensils you use everyday.

Ghana’s rich cultural history spans back even before its claim-to-fame independence in 1957 with the help of renowned leadership figure Kwame Nkrumah. Therefore, I’d be doing this coastal community an injustice if I spare the juicy details.

As A Tourist, There’s Much To See

Walk through the streets of Osu, and you’ll see many street vendors selling their wares to passerby. Drive in a taxi, and you’ll have the pleasure of buying refreshments from people selling them on the highway. Visit the many local bars in East Legon, and you’ll drink organic mixed beverages only found on the African continent. Stop by a local gas station, and you’ll see people lined up to assist…
