Gloucester County golfers will be teeing off for a good cause on Wednesday, May 24, when the Rowan College Foundation at Gloucester County holds its annual golf outing at the Riverwinds Golf Club.

The day’s program will include 18 holes of golf and awards for the longest drive and the closest to the pin. Proceeds from the fundraiser benefit student scholarships.

The $125 per person charge will include greens and cart fees, lunch and a buffet dinner following golf. For those who want to attend the dinner only, the cost is $40.

Registration will take place from noon to 12:45 p.m. The Gloucester County Health & Human Services Department will be offering free blood pressure and DermaScan screenings during registration. The shotgun start will be at 1 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. at the Riverwinds Restaurant.

Co-chairs of the event are Brian Rowan and Cody Miller. Rowan is RCGC’s executive director of athletics. Miller is the golf-tournament coordinator and serves as the college’s foundation and alumni relations director.

Golf reservations and other information can be obtained by calling RCGC Foundation offices at (856) 681-6242, or by email at cmille27@rcgc.edu. Tickets can also be purchased online at RCGC.edu/golfclassic.

RCGC is located on a 250-acre campus along Tanyard Road, in Deptford Township.
