The Broadway Theatre of Pitman welcomes Grammy-Award winner Rita Coolidge to the stage for an entertaining concert event on March 25 at 8 p.m.

Coolidge’s legendary career began by singing with Joe Cocker and other rock royalty, including tours and recordings with Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Leon Russell and Stephen Stills.

Coolidge’s impact is undiminished. Her voice as pure, sweet and powerful as ever and her ability to get inside a song honed by experience and overview.

“I guess the fact that I’m still here means I must be doing something right,” Coolidge said. “It’s good to know that people who’ve liked what I do for all these years still like what I do, and at the same time it sounds good to people who weren’t even born when I started out. And it’s especially satisfying because I’ve made a record that’s really true to the style of music I love. How can you ask for more than that?”

Audiences rave that Coolidge’s voice will leave you speechless. Her ability to bring back memories is undeniable. Coolidge says her concert event represents her relationship with music, herself and with other people.

“I am making a conscious effort to give back everything I’ve learned about music,” Coolidge said.

Most recently, Rita wrote her own book titled “Delta Lady: A Memoir.” The Memoir is a candid chronicle of her life and career in and out of the spotlight and an uncompromising woman’s pursuit of her dream.

Don’t miss “The Delta Lady” perform classic hits from her multi-platinum album including, “We’re All Alone,” “Higher and Higher,” and “The Way You Do the Things You Do” at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman.

Tickets are currently available for $40. Contact the Theatre Box Office at pitmanbroadwaytheatre.com, or call (856) 384–8381 to guarantee your seat.
