NPR book critic to appear at Gloucester County Library

Maureen Corrigan will be leading a discussion at the Mullica Hill Library on April 29.

NPR book critic Maureen Corrigan will appear at the Mullica Hill Branch of the Gloucester County Library System on Saturday, April 29 at 5 p.m. She will discuss her book “So We Read On: How the Great Gatsby Came to be and Why It Endures.”

Corrigan’s appearance is the capstone event of a month of programs and activities centered on “The Great Gatsby” by F. Scott Fitzgerald, funded by a Big Read grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The event is free and open to the public. Advance registration is strongly recommended.

Maureen Corrigan is a book critic for NPR’s popular show “Fresh Air.” She is Critic in Residence for the Georgetown University Department of English. Her reviews and essays have been published in many major newspapers and magazines. She is an expert in the works of F. Scott Fitzgerald.
