Gloucester County will host several Job Fair Workshops in preparation of their upcoming Job Fair and Resource Event at Rowan College at Gloucester County on Oct. 13.

“We encourage our residents to attend one of the job fair workshops so they can strengthen their interviewing skills and learn different strategies they can apply when they are interviewing with potential employers,” Director Robert M. Damminger said.

“Attending one of these workshops will help job seekers be better prepared for their upcoming interviews,” Freeholder Heather Simmons, liaison to Economic Development said. “Attendees will learn how to build an effective resume, how to dress for success as well as learn useful job fair strategies that they can implement during the upcoming job fair. A successful job search can change the career path for job seekers. The lessons learned during the workshops are valuable ones that could be the deciding factor in obtaining employment.”

The workshops are free and there are several times and locations to choose from. Registration is required to attend the workshops at www.gcwdb.org, or call (856) 384–6963.
