Glucosio’s Sweet One Year Anniversary

Today marks the one year anniversary of the Glucosio Project and what a sweet feeling it is for our entire team to mark this first anniversary with yet another release.

Speaking of sweet? We will name this release Căpșună which is Romanian for strawberry.

Glucosio in Romanian

This Android release we are making available some great improvements to our graphs and a new language switcher, which Paolo Rotolo and Eugen Martynov have both been hard at work on. You can now change the language displayed in the Glucosio app in the app settings to any language we currently support.

The new graph improvements allow you to tap a metric in the legend below the graph to switch to the metric you would like display in overview. We will continue to make improvements to the visualization of data in future releases of Glucosio based on your feedback and our continued in-house testing.

If your language is not supported, I invite you to become a contributor today and help us bring Glucosio to your language. When we started this project a year ago, we had no idea it would have as much momentum as we’ve seen over the last year and are very excited about the future of the Glucosio Project and bringing open source software to more people with diabetes around the world.

Stay tuned for more updates from us including our upcoming release for iOS and join us as a contributor and be part of the Glucosio Project story!
