Combing through the news
Let’s use Hyperspeed to cut through a specific current event faster than ever before. One of the great things Hyperspeed provides is the ability to thread through multiple articles or documents in order to get a diverse perspective on anything you are trying to learn about.

In this article, we are going to explore the most recent Covid 19 relief bill. Using Hyperspeed, we’ll engage with various websites in order to understand how information is being presented, as well as learn a bit about the relief bill ourselves. Hopefully we’ll be able to showcase a workflow for readers to try out.
It all starts with a Google search
We start by performing a Google search in order to see a range of potential articles or documents for us to review. This is typically a great place to start for anyone performing any type of research in absence of a database of content or other known sources. Regardless of where you are getting the content, Hyperspeed will be able to help when you are combing through the content.
First site: NPR
We started off with an NPR article and asked a few questions.
We were very quickly able to ask a couple of questions to get a sense of what the article was telling us about the bill.
From this article, we learned about how certain people felt about what the bill should address when it comes to stimulus payments to Americans along with how the bill might impact people during tax season. After asking a few questions, I was able to safely conclude that the article was not really detailing information about the bill, rather opinions and positions from experts on what the bill should ultimately address.
Second site: Fox Business
We asked the same questions on a new piece of content.
We asked the same questions from the NPR article but were able to gather additional information not found in the NPR article.
There were some pretty strong contrasts between the NPR article and the Fox Business article. The Fox article seemed like it was better suited to answer my specific questions that focused on specific details from the bill. I was able to quickly learn about how small businesses could be impacted from the bill and help with reductions in tax liability.
Third site: Washington Post
The final site we visited was an article on the Washington Post, which introduced us to some additional perspective not immediately captured in the previous two articles.
On this final article, I was able to find additional information not present in the previous two sources, specifically around how the bill impacts our education system. This offered additional angles from the other two sources, effectively providing me multiple perspectives and aspects of the bill.
Take a look at the video showing how we threaded multiple content sources to gain multiple perspectives on the Covid 19 relief bill in a very short amount of time.
