Welcome to the April 2023 edition of Goal3’s monthly update series, where we bring you the latest developments in our mission to revolutionize the sports betting industry through decentralization. This article highlights our noteworthy achievements, updates from the month of April, and what you can anticipate in May.
1. Lockdrop: 2,800,000+ in TVL
The Goal3 Lockdrop has reached an exciting milestone, having attracted 18,447 participants and over $2.8M in TVL in just 12 days since its launch. The 12 Months Locking Vault has emerged as the most popular option among our participants. We’re thrilled with this response and would like to thank everyone who has supported us so far.

2. $GOAL3 is now $ZKG
We’ve rebranded our token $GOAL3 to $ZKG.
This change will not affect your current $GOAL3 allocation from Lockdrop in any way. Once the TGE takes place, all Lockdrop participants will be able to claim their $ZKG at a 1:1 ratio.
We believe this change has more potential for branding and marketing, and we’re excited about the new direction for our project.
3. Platform, Smart-Contract upgraded
Following the successful launch of the Lockdrop, our dev team wasted no time and immediately started improving the Sportsbook platform to prepare for the mainnet launch. Some of the key upgrades that have been implemented can be found in this Twitter thread:

4. Introducing Playdrop — The Rule of Three
Playdrop is the next phase of Goal3, where we not only roll out the sportsbook onto Mainnet but also we go beyond — into the realm of decentralized, censorship-resistant infrastructure.

5. What to expect in May: PlayDrop — Early access with Private Beta Mainnet
Starting next week, we will be gradually granting sportsbook access to our Lockers until all 18,447 users have had early access to the Private Beta Mainnet. This marks the final stages before the Full Launch Alpha of the sportsbook commences.
