Customer for life.

Two years ago, I was gifted a Garmin Fenix 5S+ watch for my birthday that changed my life; for the first time, I was able to keep an electronic journal of my workouts, and the results have been life-changing. I lost 30lbs over two years while slashing my cholesterol by nearly 40%; no magic pills required, just diet, exercise, and a lot of hard work!
In 2019 I logged 1,200+ running miles and countless walks. This far in 2020, I have proudly logged 1,200+ running miles, 1,400+ cycling miles, and 44+ swimming miles, earning me a spot in the top 5% of my age group for road races ranging in distance from 5K to half marathons.
My $600 watch recently broke, leaving me heartbroken. I bought a less expensive Garmin model, but it lacked the roundtrip course feature I loved and grew dependent on for my runs and rides, so I returned it.
I wasn’t counting on much when I called Garmin; I was well beyond the one year warranty. But Garmin surprised me; they replaced my old watch for $150, earning brand loyalty from me for life! Thank you, Garmin Team!
I am now patiently waiting for Strava to team up with companies like Garmin and Trek Bicycle to offer a marketplace to buy/sell/trade equipment like watches and bikes…
