Greetings from Gobaba!
We are officially one month into the new year! Let us take this opportunity to tell you about what’s been happening on the Gobaba front for the past month and also remind you about some of Gobaba’s cool features.
Gobaba at the Paris Fintech Forum 2019
First off… Gobaba was at the Paris Fintech Forum on January 29th and 30th at the Palais Brongniart — the historical Paris Stock Exchange. Our team had a very productive time talking about Gobaba’s crypto payment and crypto POS products for businesses.
XRP (Ripple) deposits open for Gobaba users
Great news! Gobaba is now accepting XRP deposits. To celebrate this update, we gave away 200 XRP on our Twitter. Follow us on Twitter (twitter.com/GobabaExchange) to get a chance to win next time!
Other currencies you can deposit to your Gobaba account are BTC, ETH, LTC, STEEM along with two fiat currencies; TRY and EUR.
More digits for everyone!
We’ve completely ditched the feature resulting in the rounding up of the decimals while displaying the amount after a buy or sell transaction. Meaning, you can be more precise with your transactions.
Security updates deployed this month:
- Users within Turkey will have to provide a selfie with their identification in order to upgrade to level 3.
- After depositing a fiat currency with a credit card, users will have to make a buy or sell transaction before they can withdraw the funds they have deposited.
- We’ve made a number of improvements on our transaction monitoring dashboard to flag suspicious activity.
