In this episode, we sit down with Sam Kijak owner and founder of Mazer Gaming. Sam is an esports professional with 6 years industry experience. He was rooted in a graphic design career in 2013 and 2014 and with the foundation of Mazer Gaming switched 100% of his efforts into establishing Mazer. In 2017 Mazer changed its name to Mazer Gaming and has grown to accomplish great things ever since.
Sam has always been passionate about this organization being able to contribute meaningful impacts on the world. With this passion Mazer Gaming has been able establish the popular “Mazer Gaming Gives Back” (MGGB) esports tournament series to support Gamers Outreach and other children- and pandemic-related charities and relief initiatives. To date, Mazer has helped to raise millions of dollars through the first two runnings of the popular MGGB charitable esports tournament series.
Sam also touches on the current collaboration with GoChain to mint unique esports- and gaming-related digital content and files in the form of NFTs. Mazer Gaming plans to work closely with GoChain and other partners to raise proceeds from the auction of the NFTs as well as via Mazer’s “Mazer Gaming Gives Back” esports tournament. Mazer is currently planning to host a tournament that will be viewable on Mazer’s Twitch channel, which will take place May 22, 2021 at 12pm EDT featuring exclusive prizes and NFTs that will be minted on the GoChain blockchain.
