Our first tweet was on Jan. 15th, 2018, marking the very beginning of GoChain’s journey. We started with an idea to fix the blockchain scaling problem while bringing an enterprise team and business philosophy to the space. It quickly turned into a global community of developers and amazing supporters. We hit our goal of fixing the scaling problem by providing a public blockchain network that handles 100x the volume of Ethereum, while remaining 100% Ethereum compatible.

Now it’s time to focus on our users and customers to bring real world use cases to Blockchain. GoChain is the most reliable and highest performance Ethereum/web3 compatible blockchain on the market today. Hands down. We stand behind this claim and please do try to prove us wrong.

This means that GoChain is not only one of the best performing public networks, but is also the best option for companies that want to run a private blockchain network. GoChain was built with trusted networks and the Enterprise market in mind and we’ve optimized for that scenario.

The State of Blockchain

Put simply, there hasn’t been much adoption of the public blockchain infrastructure. Most of the most popular dApps are gambling based and aren’t going to bring the masses to the space. This is far from the vision of scalable dApps with real use cases that will convert people over from legacy systems.

Currently, most centralized applications in our world work pretty well. If we want to see mass adoption of dApps, the changeover for the average user must be frictionless with very obvious benefits. To date we have yet to see any of these anywhere in the space.

After watching the space over the past few years, we think the future of blockchain is going to be built in the enterprise world first. It’s very important to note that there’s a huge difference between cryptocurrency and blockchain especially when it relates to the enterprise market. Large companies are always looking for scalable technology to make things faster, better, easier, and cheaper. We plan to help many companies achieve this with blockchain technology and solutions built on GoChain.

Enterprise Services

Starting immediately, GoChain Enterprise Services (GOES) is now providing enterprise level consulting, training and support! If your business needs help implementing blockchain solutions, the GoChain team is here to help. We live and breathe blockchain and can help you architect and implement the proper solution you need today.

We also provide onsite workshops for Enterprise teams to get in-depth blockchain training from beginner to advanced. Think of it as a blockchain bootcamp for your business.

Blockchain for the Masses

One of the biggest problems with blockchain mass adoption has been its lack of usability. It’s generally a terrible user experience and we’re on a mission to change that. In 2019, you’ll be seeing several new initiatives we’re working on to make it easier for developers to make dApps and deploy blockchain solutions for real world use cases. These initiatives will also make it easier for end users to interact with these dapps. Stay tuned.

Rebranding and Renewed Focus

As GoChain has grown over the past year we feel it’s necessary to embrace a new image that can grow along with it. With that, we would like to introduce the new GoChain logo below and tagline, “The Blockchain Company”.

GoChain is no longer just a network protocol. It’s an evolving and growing ecosystem. We have an increased focus on being the group that helps bring blockchain to the forefront of technology and innovation.

Please note, we still plan on helping ICOs, STOs, and dApps build on GoChain but with a heavy focus on building real world solutions to advance the GoChain ecosystem and blockchain technology itself. Look for much, much more to come!
