GoChain is excited to announce the addition of Jameson Stafford to the team as SVP of Marketing. Jameson will initiate a comprehensive marketing and public relations plan that will include a full rebranding and redevelopment of the GoChain web presence, expanded content creation, media outreach, community engagement, and developing and nurturing interest in deploying GoChain with enterprise innovation & IT groups. Jameson has been an active advisor for GoChain since its inception, and has been deeply involved in the blockchain space for the past 2 years.

About Jameson

Jameson brings over 20 years of broad experience in marketing and business development to the team, having worked extensively with globally recognized brands across the enterprise and entertainment spaces. Most recently Jameson was VP of Corporate Development at Catalytic, a cloud-based enterprise automation & AI platform that was funded by several top VCs, led by NEA — the world’s largest VC firm with nearly $20 billion in assets. At Catalytic, Jameson led outreach and use-case development directly with innovation groups at Global and Fortune 100 enterprises which included Bosch, Pfizer, Procter & Gamble, MetLife, Citibank, Mattel, and dozens more.

Prior to Catalytic Jameson created and served as CEO of the GrowCommerce SaaS ecommerce platform, which was one of the first API-focused ecommerce platforms targeted toward enterprise customers and B2B sales. After generating early success with Warner Brothers and Sony Music, in 2011 Rainmaker Systems, a NASDAQ-traded public company, acquired GrowCommerce to become its flagship SaaS ecommerce product. Jameson joined Rainmaker as VP of Technology and oversaw the deployment of GrowCommerce to power the global B2B stores for Silicon Valley giants Symantec and HP. Rainmaker was later acquired by Callidus, which was subsequently acquired by SAP.

Prior to GrowCommerce, Jameson created and served as CEO of Iventa, one of the earliest SaaS ecommerce platforms. Jameson started the company in his apartment in Hollywood, and grew it to over 100 employees in Los Angeles, New York, Austin and Mumbai, India. Jameson was an early pioneer of SEO which, combined with his marketing background, allowed him to dominate the ecommerce space in the music industry, racking up clients such as Metallica, Bon Jovi, Linkin Park, Jason Aldean, Erykah Badu, Ricky Martin, The Grateful Dead, Kid Rock, Hilary Duff, Korn, Frank Sinatra, Nelly Furtado, and dozens more. Jameson also used his enterprise experience to expand the product offering to power B2C ecommerce sites for prominent brands such as BusinessWeek, McGraw-Hill, Newline Cinema, Picturehouse Entertainment, TOMY Corporation, Knowledge Adventure, Spinning, Smashbox Cosmetics, Freeman Beauty, Kubota Tractor, GTI, Auto-Trader, and many more. In 2008 Jameson sold Iventa to CommercePlanet, a publicly traded ecommerce company in Santa Barbara, California.

Jameson Started his career at PwC as an Application Architect/Developer and Process Engineer in the Logistics & Supply Chain practice in Chicago, then later the Information, Communications & Entertainment practice in Beverly Hills, CA. Jameson worked exclusively with Fortune 500 companies and entertainment & media giants, including Compaq Computer, Sony Music, Sony Pictures, Universal Studios and Paramount Pictures.

Jameson graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Marketing from the Michigan State University Eli Broad College of Business, and studied Philosophy at the University of Michigan. Jameson took post-graduate courses in Film & Video Production at the University of Southern California School of Cinema & Television. Jameson remains passionate about film — he has written and directed many projects over the years, with actors including Sean Penn and Jada Pinkett-Smith, and music artists Metallica, Kid Rock, Erykah Badu, Uncle Kracker, Cierra, and many more. His directing work has been viewed over a quarter billion times on YouTube and Facebook, adding to countless hundreds of millions on television.

“I’m very excited to become part of such an amazing, world-class team and work with a truly game-changing blockchain protocol. GoChain is, today, simply a no-brainer choice for companies looking to deploy blockchain projects — it’s ready to go, insanely fast, incredibly cheap, *fully* Ethereum-compatible, and backed by tier-1 leadership and a rockstar team with unmatched support. But the future is even more exciting — with the huge initiatives rolling out over the next several months I have no doubt GoChain is the project to watch in 2019. I’m grateful to have been part of the project’s inception as an advisor, and thrilled to join the core team and help educate the world on the power of GoChain.”
