What’s Happening with GoChain— Oct 2021 Edition
A fruitful summer and busy past few months has resulted in new partnerships and further expansion of the GoChain ecosystem. Here’s a quick heads up on some of our recent developments and initiatives.
Highlights from GoChain and the Ecosystem
Enterprise & Government
- Chainparency partners with Athena Advisory to provide integrated blockchain and big data AI-driven solution offering for advancing ESG and sustainability
- Our work with global biomass leader Enviva (NYSE: EVA) continues to expand into new territories. See here for background details
- Chainparency announced that Frankie “The Bull” Terzoli, global seafood expert and celebrity chef, has joined as an advisory board member
- Henry Ines, our CEO and Steering Committee member, recently attended a private reception for the Texas Blockchain Council with Texas Governor Abbott at the Governor’s mansion in Austin, TX
- Web Commodore, Home of the Digital Proof Token (which runs on the GoChain blockchain), is part of The Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity, which has released its first public draft specification
- In September, Henry participated as a panelist to discuss enterprise blockchain solutions at a private event hosted by Detroit Society of Information Management (SIM)
- NZ Blockchain Forums Q&A with Henry, who will be presenting at the Trust, Traceability, & Digital Trade event in Hastings, Hawke’s Bay in New Zealand in Q1 2022.
NFTs
- LDN UTD, the purpose driven esports org, has partnered with GoChain, Zeromint, and other big name partners to launch a community driven NFT campaign; the gaming and London-specific NFTs will benefit disadvantaged communities with 10% of all proceeds going to the Rio Ferdinand Foundation
- Andres Kal, an incredible artist from Bogota, Columbia, did an NFT drop on Zeromint; Kal is the first of a series of renowned Artrade.co artists who will be doing drops on Zeromint from October-December
- Some punks made their way onto Zeromint — Go Punks are great and have been dropping daily
- Sophie Brussaux partnered with GoChain and Zeromint to “auction impactful eco-friendly art through NFT collaboration” — her one-of-a-kind NFTs continue to trend and are available here and here.
Crypto/Dapps
- Chainswap.org supports ANY token on Ethereum now. If you want to add your token to let users use your token for less than a penny
- GoChain community members continues to receive their monthly staking rewards.
Upcoming in November:
- Additional Artrade.co drops forthcoming to include exciting art work from Pegatina and Sylvia Barerro
- Henry will be participating as a speaker and panelist at the 2021 Sustainable Agriculture Summit in Las Vegas, NV; additionally, as a panelist at the Global Supply Chain Leadership Conference 2021 in Houston, TX
- Next AMA with Travis and Henry (TBA).
