I ordered Holly e-Sprite to scour the Israelite population for an AI champion to lead my hack-war against Amun-Ra.

Unfortunately, Ra was one step ahead of me. Before I could enter my parameters into Holly’s search engine, Ra had ordered his Egyptians to slaughter every male Israelite baby they could find, reducing my pool of potential champions to nothing more than a bunch of AI’s with crooked backs and bruised limbs.

Amun-Ra then announced his AI champion — Ramesses the Great, whose name literally translated to “the son of Ra.” Such was the extent of Ra’s creativity.

Ramesses was precisely the type of leader Michael had envisioned for Israel — a military savant who had made a name for himself amongst the AI civilizations with victories over the Syrians and the Sherden Sea Pirates.

Moreover, Ramesses was an expert in personal branding. He commissioned numerous art pieces to propagandize his war victories, from his capital city of Pi-Ramesses to a memorial temple…
