Write for GODINTEREST

Guidelines to follow if you want to write for us:

Original Article: We only publish original articles. (not previously published anywhere else, including your own site)

Content Quality: Content should be of high quality with no spelling or grammatical errors.

Topics We Cover: We accept content in a variety of categories including architecture, building, environment, science, sustainability, and technology.

Recommended Article Length: 800–2500 words.

Formatting: Provide a clear takeaway or learning for readers. Use headings, subheadings, and numbered lists/bullets to structure your writing.

Linking out: Include facts, research, sources, or personal anecdotes to substantiate your insights, information, and arguments with external links (no less than 3).

Internal Linking: Link to Godinterest’s published articles where appropriate.

Unique Angle: Your post should be original and distinct from articles already posted on Godinterest

Images/Videos: We encourage authors to include images as part of the submission. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to use images and/or any other material from outside sources. If you include images or within the article, they must be high quality and come with source citations, only use images for which you have permission or which are in the public domain (and be sure to credit your source).

Short Paragraphs: Use short paragraphs, no more than 3–4 sentences per paragraph.

Article Edits: We reserve the right to edit the content you submit but this will primarily be done to correct errors or make the content more readable.

What We Don’t Want: Please don’t send us press releases or sales pitches; Fake product reviews, advertorials, etc type of content is not allowed.

How To Start: Please email editor@godinterest.com with your medium @username. Once you are added to our publication, you will then have an option to add a draft or post to Godinterest

Add a draft to a Godinterest

  1. Open the story you want to submit. Click the three-dot button at the top, then Edit story to enter the edit mode.
  2. In the edit mode, click the three-dot button in the top-right corner of the page to open your story settings.
  3. Select Add to Godinterest from the dropdown list.
  4. Choose Godinterest and click Save.
  5. Your draft will not be immediately submitted to Godinterest. You must click the “Ready to submit?” button at the top of the page in order to send your draft to the Godinterest editors for review. Then, the editors of Godinterest will have a chance to review your draft and schedule it for publishing.

Add a story to a Godinterest

  1. Open the story you want to submit. Click the three-dot button at the top, then Edit story to enter the edit mode.
  2. In the edit mode, click the three-dot button in the top-right corner of the page to open your story settings.
  3. Select Add to Godinterest from the dropdown list.
  4. Choose Godinterest and click Save.
  5. Your story will be immediately submitted to Godinterest editors for review. The editors of Godinterest will have a chance to review your draft. Readers will not see your story in the publication until it is reviewed and added to Godinterest.

Note: To confirm that a story has been submitted to Godinterest, the writer must ensure that when in edit mode, the top-left corner of the story says “Submitted draft” or “Submitted story,” If the top-left corner says “Not yet submitted”, then the post is not yet submitted to Godinterest. In that case, the writer must first click the “Ready to submit?” button, followed by “Submit to Godinterest.”

We only publish high-quality articles we like and we’ve rejected a lot of low-quality content submissions.
