The Relationship Between The Body, Soul, and Spirit

Despite the fact that man is primarily a spirit, this spirit is unable to interact with the earthly realm by itself because the law of territory requires it to have a material body appropriate to the ecosystem of the earth in order to walk on it.

Spirits cannot live on the earth without a material body. A human spirit that enters the earth without a physical body will move in waterless places in search of something to occupy. It is against the laws of the universe. A spirit has a legal occupant on the earth because he is placed within a material body.

It is impossible for the human spirit to operate in the earthly realm without a body or for the human body to travel to the spirit realm because of the dimensional nature of its operation. A disparity exists between the two realms, so the spirit cannot directly relate to the body. It needs a bridge.

That is where the soul comes in.

The soul acts as a bridge between the spirit and the body. It is the spirit in partnership with their body. It is the faculty that connects the spirit and the body.
