Our strength is based on our connection with the Lord, who is the source of all strength and power.

He is the one who enables us to do all things through Christ who strengthens us (Philippians 4:13).

We Cannot Do Without It; We Need His Strength and His Mighty Power

The fourth thing we need to understand is that our strength and power are not optional or extra.

They are essential and vital. They are not something we can do without or take for granted. They are something we need and depend on.

They are not something we can earn or deserve. They are something we receive and enjoy.

To need His strength and His mighty power means to admit our weakness and insufficiency apart from Him.

It means to humble ourselves before Him and ask for His help and intervention. It means to surrender ourselves to Him and let Him work in us and through us. It means to thank Him and give Him all the glory for what He has done and what He will do.

Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power is not just a verse or a slogan. It is a way of life and a call to action.
