Israel and Jerusalem Will Change the World in the End Times: The Shocking Truth About God’s Covenant with His People

Discover the Biblical Prophecies that Reveal God’s Plan for Israel and Jerusalem in the Last Days, and How They Will Affect You and Your Family

The End Times and God’s Covenant with Israel

Many Christians today are interested in the topic of the end times, or the last days before the return of Jesus Christ.

However, not all Christians have a clear understanding of the role of Israel and Jerusalem in God’s plan for the end times.

Some churches teach that Israel has been replaced by the church as God’s covenant people, and that the promises and prophecies given to Israel in the Old Testament are no longer valid or relevant.

This view is known as replacement theology or supersessionism, and it is based on the assumption that Israel forfeited their position as God’s chosen people when they rejected Jesus as their Messiah.

However, this view is not supported by the Word of God. The Bible teaches that God has not rejected or replaced Israel, but that He still has a purpose and a plan for them in the end times.

God made an everlasting covenant with Israel, and He will fulfill His promises to them in His own time and way.

The book of Romans, especially chapters 9-11, makes it very clear that God has not cast away His people whom He foreknew, but that He has a mystery and a mercy for them in the end times. Romans 11:25-26 says:

For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come out of Zion, And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; For this is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins.”

This passage reveals that God has a plan for Israel in the end times, and that He will save them as a nation when He returns to establish His kingdom on earth.

The end times are all about Israel and Jerusalem, because they are the focal point of God’s covenant and prophecy.

Jerusalem is the city where Jesus was crucified and resurrected, and where He will come back to reign as King of kings and Lord of lords. Zechariah 14:4 says:

And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, Which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, From east to west, Making a very large valley; Half of the mountain shall move toward the north And half of it toward the south.

The end times are also about God’s covenant people, because they are the witnesses and the recipients of His grace and glory.

God has not forgotten or forsaken Israel, but He has preserved them throughout history as a testimony of His faithfulness and power. God will also use Israel to bless the nations in the end times, as He promised to Abraham in Genesis 12:3:

I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

Therefore, as Christians who love God and His Word, we should not ignore or neglect Israel and Jerusalem in our study and understanding of the end times.

We should also not be indifferent or hostile to them in our attitude and actions. Rather, we should pray for them, support them, and bless them according to God’s will and purpose.

We should also recognize that we are grafted into God’s covenant with Israel through faith in Jesus Christ, and that we share in their spiritual blessings and inheritance.

Romans 11:17-18 says:

And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree, do not boast against the branches.

But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you.

The end times are a time of great tribulation and trouble for Israel and Jerusalem, but also a time of great salvation and glory for them.

The end times are also a time of great anticipation and preparation for us as Christians who are waiting for our Lord’s return.

Let us therefore keep our eyes on Israel and Jerusalem as we watch and pray for the end times.
