Our Mission & Vision
God Temple is an idea created by 5 myth enthusiasts. From the beginning, the project is designed to be a social, blockchain-native experiment, where the story of mythology will be brought to life.
We all love mythology. It reminds us of who we are, where we come from, and the battles between good and evil, instilling us with values, morals, and ideologies in legacy.
People shape arts. Cultures shape people. And mythology shapes cultures.
How It Started
We, cofounders of this project, wouldn’t call ourselves professional mythologists. We are merely blockchain developers, who possess great enthusiasm on myths compared to ordinary people. The NFT craze this year inspired us that we can create timeless mythical art that can survive the ages. When we met the superheroes comic artist Pat Lee, everything clicked and this project kick started.
By origin, we only have the simple idea of collaborating with celebrity artist to create mythical NFT art. As the market evolves, we are fascinated by the idea of blockchain gaming, and devoted to infuse this element into God Temple. The positive feedback for this decision has been overwhelming since we released the sneak peek of the game we’re developing. That’s why we’re calling this project a social experiment. God Temple is built for our culture, for our community, and will only advance towards the direction that all of us wants it to be.
Our Plans
In the coming days, we will continue to develop God Temple with this mentality. Initially, we planned to release the project in 2 phases: art collection (drops) and game. Now, the team is working on the idea of creating an ultraverse (containing different cultures of myths) and may add this into phase 3. However, we will evaluate on the community’s responses on the first 2 phases before progressing into the third one.
However, we’re not planning on creating a AAA game. We work with limited resources and only work for making our vision become a reality — bringing an amazing experience with the simplest mechanics. Sometimes less is more, and God Temple will be a proof of that.
