In honor of International Women’s Day, we wanted to share some of our favorite stories of women connecting with their communities, making a difference, and changing their worlds by rallying support on GoFundMe.

At just 9 years old, Khloe is already making a difference for homeless women in her community. With her signature “Kare Bags”—and compassion beyond her years—Khloe reminds us all that real change can begin just by looking around us and really seeing those in need. And she’s just getting started: Khloe and her mom have successfully registered “Khloe Kares” as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and Khloe continues to travel around the country to inspire and share her message of service.

Sarah Strader went slightly farther afield to make a difference: she traveled to Cameroon to work with the children of the Baka people, teaching literacy and numeracy in their native tongue. With the nonprofit that she founded called Two Rabbits, Sarah and her colleagues are working to bring fun, culturally-based learning to some of the most vulnerable populations in the world.

It’s no coincidence that Seun Adigun looks like a superhero, because she’s trying to accomplish something heroic: starting the Nigerian Women’s Bobsled team in hopes of being the first-ever African representative, men or women, to qualify for the Winter Olympic Games in the sport. It’s ambitious and maybe just a little crazy, but if anyone can make this dream come true, it’s Seun and her team.

And speaking of heroes who don’t wear capes, this is Amanda Nguyen. She took her own devastating experience—having to protect her rape kit from being destroyed by the state—and turned it into life-changing legislation, the Sexual Assault Survivors’ Bill of Rights. By bravely sharing her own story and by advocating for all sexual assault survivors, Amanda has made American law more just and equitable for all.

And for a final reminder that change-makers can be any age, we turn to 63-year-old Laura Eiman. After her own life and fitness transformation, Laura is on a mission to inspire 73 million Baby Boomers to become healthy and happy. Her mantra? “If you want to get stronger in life, you have to pick up the heavier weight.

If these amazing women inspire you, please ❤ and share.
