“Wisdom by Millennials” — A campaign by GoGaga

Pardeep is a very simple boy, who belongs to a very small village of Himachal. He always had a wish to see how different places in the world looked like. When he discussed the idea with his mum, he recalls, “My mom told me that it can be possible only if I study hard”. Making it a goal for his life, he was the first one in his village who completed graduation and came so far from home.

Today Pardeep has visited 15 countries, entire India (29 states in 100 days), and made many friends around the globe. Currently, he is working for an app as a content producer and campaign manager. He is the founder of “Roamanchak” — a travel content platform showcasing his experiences from the diverse 29 states of India.

Pardeep’s Instagram handle is “Troy.Traveler”, i.e. and he seriously abides by that name in his personal and professional life. He describes himself as unofficially married. His story dates back to the initial days of his career when he was sharing a flat with 5 other people. That’s when he met his partner — Sumitro. They did not know much about each other, yet after a few talks they fell for each other and now they have been together for 3 years. Together they have been on the best of dates and it only gets better.

But it hasn’t always been the same for Pardeep. He has had many bad dating experiences — He has encountered creeps and fakes on dating apps.

He believes in old school over modern dating. However, he puts it as Patience over Options and he is just right about it. He believes that you will find the right person by patience and till then love yourself. One of the things he says about loving yourself is “Love yourself and you will find 1,000 people loving you”.

As a millennial, he thinks Gen-Z is the smartest of the generations till now. They are getting mature before their age. However, he has small advice — “Don’t look immediately for something permanent. Explore life, talk to more people and you will find the right one”
