Things GoGoGrandparent’s say
When GoGoGrandparent was still just ten people we started using the messaging service Slack to communicate between operators internally.
Some innovative soul made a channel called #woohoo with a small and simple purpose: share when grandparents say something that makes you smile.
Here’s a peek from the channel over the last couple days (edited for punctuation and to not give away identity!).

Alexa [11:12 AM] Evelyn G. wants us to know that she always feels safe with the drivers and appreciates the prompt service. Also she loves that the operators speak slowly and concisely.
Juan [7:23 AM] Catherine M. said that she loves our service, “you guys are very reliable and always there to help”

Lara [3:59 PM] Susan W. was so impressed with Khalid and she wants to make sure that he’ll get recognized. She never had a great service with anyone like this before. She’s so thoughtful and caring.
Lara [11:25 AM] Howell A. wants us to praise Tania for her great service. Said that he left his glasses to her car and she did return to the church and give it to his churchmates. Not all drivers are as good hearted as she was.

Juan [6:51 AM] Janie T. First time calling to get a ride, knew nothing about it, now knows exactly what to do and how it works, very happy and encouraged to use our services from now on…!! Sweet lady from Colorado.

Me and my brother are so relaxed now setting up rides for our parents cause we know that you guys will get them a ride and we basically don’t have to worry for them to be mistreated and late to their appts. Also its very funny the way you get the drivers and their cars..! Last time my parents said ‘We were in a Mercedes Benz..! Woooow..!’, you guys are just so lovely and wonderful…!” Sweet couple from Georgia

Alexa [8:07 AM] Thanks to an amazing operator, we caught a false trip and we were able to dispute it and refund it. Mr. P. was very pleased that we did this without him even knowing. His email in response to the refund “Thanks. I had no idea there was a problem. You go: GOGO!”

Alexa [1:19 PM] Carol wanted to cancel her account because the driver got lost and she was overcharged. I disputed it and got her a refund. I left a message, letting her know what we were able to do and let her know that we are always here to dispute any fares she feels are incorrect. I just got this message from Melody:

kelly [4:48 PM] Donna said driver Gulbarchyn was fantastic and she would have her every ride if she could.
