  • HT was left out of the Top 5 last month with a 25.2% increase but makes it in July thanks to a strong and unwavering growth (+17.0%)
  • Strong downturn overall in the market this month with an average performance of -17.1%

  • Ino-Coin is the second best performer (50.5%) this month with one of the lowest average daily traded volumes (1.1 M)
  • The average daily traded volumes continue to decrease overall in the market from 998.6 M in May to 856.1 M in July

  • Volatility is back up to May levels after a slight retreat in June
  • For the second month in row, BTC is left out of the least volatile coins
  • EGT is the best performer and also the most volatile coin this month, on the other hand HT is in the Top 5 performers as well (17% in July) but the least volatile coin

  • Last month there were 8 coins that were negatively correlated to BTC, compared to 13 this month, this trend continues to pull down the average correlation on the whole from 0.55 to 0.26

Top upwards pulling:

  • HT: After a good performance in June (+25.2%), HT is more than ever a top contributor this month going strong (+17.0%) despite the market decline

Negative impact:

  • ZEC: In line with the global trend, most coins experienced a strong correction after the May/June pinnacle, ZEC contributed negatively to all indices with a July performance of -33.7%
  • ETH: Between July 8th and July 17th ETH’s price decreased by 36.4% before stabilizing around the 217.2 USD level for the rest of the month
