This team started in 2017, primarily in Nigeria to identify and stand in the gap of the healthcare system in Nigeria. The gaps include- access, affordability, and quality of health care.
Advantage Health Africa aims to build the African health ecosystem of the future through technology, networks, and innovation, being an umbrella for the various initiatives they have come up with to improve the healthcare system in Africa.
An example of this initiative is my-medicines.com, Nigeria’s first and largest aggregated online pharmacy platform. My-medicines.com is an online e-commerce platform used to provide medicines and health-related items directly to the doorstep of consumers while sourcing from reliable registered sources. The platform rides on an inventory of over 7000 medicines and health-related items through a network of over 980 pharmacies who deliver to towns and villages across Nigeria. This easy to use platform is available in 28 states across the country and plans to expand to all 36 states.
