👉 The #CentralBankofNigeria (CBN) has said that it will include bills payment in the upgraded version of its Central Bank Digital Currency (#CBDC), eNaira.

👉 The #CBN said that this is part of measures to increase use of the #digitalcurrency, including sensitisation #campaigns in major markets across the country.

👉 Starting from next week, eNaira speed wallet app will allow users to do transactions such as paying #electricbills or even paying for #flighttickets.

👉 The eNaira was launched last year in a bid to stir the evolution of the payments landscape in the country.
