📣 The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (CABEI) supports #ElSalvador’s 🇸🇻 Bitcoin Law

👉 Dante Mossi, President of the Central American Bank for Economic Integration (#CABEI), confirmed in a press conference that the bank would give El Salvador 🇸🇻 technical assistance to implement #Bitcoin as #legaltender.

👉 Bank’s objective is to “promote the economic integration and the balanced economic and social development of the Central American region.”

👉 CABEI has 15 member countries include #Panama, the Dominican Republic, and Belize, while other extra-regional members include #Mexico, #Argentina, #Spain, and #South Korea.

👉 Mossi believes that the legal frame will prevent the “bad actors” from taking advantage of the regulatory framework.

👉 Mossi also said that CABEI would frame a team in coordination with El Salvador’s 🇸🇻 Finance Ministry and Central Bank to work on the new process implementation.
