The Second Update of Season One

As Season One continues, February’s game update brings us a refresh of the new Pirate Emporium wares and some spiffy new cosmetics to earn in the Outpost shops, as well as a beautiful set of Sails raising money for a good cause, and some of these are time limited until the next update launches in March. Read on to find out about all the new cosmetics introduced in update 2.0.22!

Quick Look: What’s Time Limited?

The following items or discounts are only available until the next update launches later in March:

• Sails of Hope — CHARITY SAILS (80% of proceeds on Steam store and 100% of proceeds on Microsoft Store go to the Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity)

• FREE Point and Laugh Emote: Beg that scary sloop who just took down your fleet for mercy! Or use it to bargain with the Tavern Maid for another grog
• SALE Various Items: A number of items have time limited sale prices, including the Ship of Love Emote Bundle, the Romantic Emote Bundle, the Smooch Emote, and the Frozen Horizon Tankard.

Everything New In…

The Quick Look above shows every item that’s Time Limited in nature, but that’s not all that’s been added to the game’s various shops!

1. Outpost Shops

The Outpost Shops have had their stock bolstered, adding new items across the Clothing, Equipment, Shipwrights and Weapon vendors. The fresh cosmetics to check out are the Sunshine Parrot Set (locked behind earning the Legends of the Sea II Commendation) and the Renegade Rogue Sea Dog Set.

The Pirate Legends Tavern receives the Dark Adventurer Ship Set to lure those wealthy pirates. These are steeply expensive items for veteran players sitting on a large stockpile of gold, and only available for Pirate Legends.

Finally, event rewards from the Champions of Souls event (Order of Souls themed weapons) have been added to outpost shops, locked behind commendations.

2. The Pirate Emporium

The Pirate Emporium is the premium transaction store where real money can be exchanged for bundles of in-game currency called “Ancient Coins”.
Players can toggle between their local currency and Ancient Coins.

The store is found on the main menu or in game above the Order of Souls vendors on Outposts. It sells unique items such as: Pets, Pet Outfits, Emotes, the Pirate Appearance Changing Potion, as well as exclusive premium Ship Sets and other Limited Cosmetic Items.

Here’s everything New in the Emporium this Update:

• Still Available THE PLUNDER PASS- The Plunder Pass grants access to the ‘second’ tier of rewards for progressing through the Season- 11 Pirate Emporium rewards, several of which have already been available and several are timed exclusive until after the Season ends. Items in the pass must be unlocked during the Season by progressing through the Season level track, which ends in ~2 months.

• Rogue Tinkerer Ship Set- For the mechanically minded pirate comes a ship with all the bells and whistles, and some nuts and bolts too
  NOTE: ALL Premium Ship Sets now come with unique Cannon Flares. Old Sets will be seeing these added and automatically given to players that already purchased the ships in the past!

• Rogue Tinkerer Captain and Crew Costume Set- Are you man or machine? Either way you are all pirate! Show your love for engineering chaos with this set of four costumes — one for the owner and three that become available to anyone you sail with!
  NOTE: This costume also comes with a unique emote only accessible while wearing the captain costume
• Rogue Tinkerer Weapon Bundle- fine-tuned for destruction
• Reaper’s Heart Equipment Bundle- a set of four equipment pieces, including a shovel, spyglass, bucket, and fishing rod.
• Reaper’s Heart Cat- the next pet to join the Reaper’s Heart Monkey and Parrot. This fiendish feline sports a fearsome look, and even has tiny little wings!

• FREE Point and Laugh Emote- go on, have a laugh at that crewmate of yours who just fell overboard for the fifteenth time this voyage
• Lovestruck Emote Bundle- includes 4 romance themed emotes
• SALE ON SELECT ITEMS — Ship of Love Emotes, Romantic Emotes, Smooch Emote, Frozen Horizon Tankard, Soulflame Facepaints
