Be Bold and Be Brave When Taking on This New Competitive Voyage Experience

The Skull of Siren Song Voyage is a new competitive voyage experience coming to Sea of Thieves as part of Season 10, landing November 17th. But what does it entail? And how do you get involved? It functions in a similar manner to a World Event, but players have to choose to actively take part in the Voyage, and all players on the server will have the chance to join in. This Voyage looks to bring players together in a race to be the ones to hand in the rare Skull of Siren Song to the illustrious Captain Briggsy.

Skull of Siren Song Voyage Deep Dive

Starting the Voyage

• The Skull of Siren Song Voyage is not like the other Voyages in Sea of Thieves as it cannot be bought from any Vendor. Instead, it appears periodically during a session.
• An on screen pop-up will appear when the voyage is active, and a Ghostly Note manifests on the main mast of your ship (the middle mast of a Galleon, the back mast of the Brigantine, the only mast of the Sloop).
• Interacting with this Ghostly Note will allow players to find out more about the Voyage before deciding to pursue to it.
• When your crew opts in, the ghost of Captain Briggsy will appear on your ship to further explain the Voyage. Once she departs, she’ll leave players with two maps in their Quest Radial.

Completing the Voyage

Once the Skull of Siren Song Voyage has been accepted you’ll be presented with two X Marks the Spot Maps in your Quest Radial. One map will lead a Chest, the other will unearth a Key. These items appear on the map tables of all players that have opted-in to the voyage, and are also marked by glowing beacons. Move quickly, or you’ll be hunted!

The Chest and the Key must be brought together so that the Chest may be opened, revealing the Skull of Siren Song kept stashed inside.

The Skull of Siren Song has two unique properties:

• Players wielding the skull can use it as a weapon, similar to the Ashen Winds Skull
• The Skull slows down the sailing speed of any ship it’s aboard, and attracts attacking skeletons when on land

But the quest isn’t over! The true objective is to deliver the skull to Captain Briggsy at a final destination.

Captain Briggsy will appear on a random island, in a random spot. This can be identified at a distance by a large swirling vortex over the target island, but is also marked on the ship’s Map Table.

Once you reach the island, you must use audio clues to determine the exact whereabouts of Captain Briggsy on the island. As you get closer to her, her calls will become louder.

Rewards

On top of the hefty Gold reward earned when handing over the Skull of Siren Song to Captain Briggsy, players can also unlock unique cosmetics by completing various Commendations. These rewards include The Skull of Siren Song Flag, Sails and Figurehead all themed after the nautical nuisances themselves, the Sirens, as well as Captain Briggsy’s Jacket and Mask! Remember, your crew has to be the one handing in the Skull of Siren Song for the point to count!
