Twitch Drops, Gold & Glory Weekend
And believe it or not, More!
As we head into the weekend, Sea of Thieves is celebrating its 3rd Anniversary with a bang- there’s 5 days of Twitch Drops to earn, a Gold & Glory (Double XP!) weekend, and numerous free rewards to earn. Read on for all the important details…
Gold & Glory Weekend
Play the game from 12am March 19th till 11:59pm March 22nd (UTC), and you’ll earn DOUBLE the Gold and DOUBLE the Reputation for all the treasure you turn in while playing. That’s double the trouble, and we know you love trouble!
Twitch Drops
From 10am March 19th till 10am March 24th (GMT), a new reward is available EACH DAY for players that watch partnered Sea of Thieves’ streamers on Twitch (after linking their Sea of Thieves and Twitch accounts).
Simply head over to the Sea of Thieves website and make sure that your Twitch Account is linked to the Microsoft Account that you use to play Sea of Thieves. If that page says you are linked, then you’re good to go!
During each 24 hour period of the giveaway, simply watch a Partnered Sea of Thieves streamer on Twitch for 20 minutes. Check the Twitch Directory for Sea of Thieves to find streamers that have drops enabled.
After watching for enough time, you should get a notification on Twitch telling you to Claim your Rewards, which you’ll have to do within 24 hours. If you don’t see this notification, you can check your drops inventory Here and see if the reward is available to claim.
The Rewards are:
- March 19th: Gilded Phoenix Bucket
- March 20th: Gilded Phoenix Lantern
- March 21st: Hornpipe Dance Emote
- March 22nd: Gilded Phoenix Compass
- March 23rd: Gilded Phoenix Tankard
