100 Golden Banknote Design Competition

November 26, 2018. Golden Currency (www.goldencurrency.money) announced today of the 100 golden banknote design public competition.

Golden is the first global private currency fully backed by gold. The first issue of golden is already issued and next issues are coming.

For the next issues Golden Currency is planning to extend the set of denominations and use 100 golden banknotes.

If you are banknote designer, you can participate in 100 Golden Banknote Design Competition. The participation in the competition is free.

The major terms of the competition and recommendations for participants:

• Any user of 18+ age can participate
• Any user can provide any number of designs
• The designs provided must not violate the rights of third parties, the participant must have all the rights for the designs provided
• The design should be provided in jpg/gif/png or other image file format or pdf, which are to be provided in two files (one for each side of the banknote). Files can be archived and can be sent attached to the email or as a link that provides a free opportunity to download such files.
• While making the design, participants should take into consideration the following: a) the design should be provided as a concept, there is no need for a very detailed banknote design, b) the denomination is 100 golden, c) the only language that must be used in design is English, d) the design for both sides of the banknote is needed to be provided, e) the size of the banknote is 150 mm X 65 mm, f) while choosing the images for the design participants must take into consideration that golden is planned to be international, global money.
• The winner of the competition will have the right to insert his name and signature on 100 Golden banknote design of the next issue, that will use the design of the winner.
• The competition start date is November 26, 2018. The end date will be additionally announced, 1 month before the end of the competition, which will happen not earlier that January 31, 2019.

Golden Currency will have the right to use the design of winner and make any changes to it. Golden Currency reserves the right not to choose the winner, and in such a case to use the design developed by Golden Currency.
