Today the Goldfinch community is excited to announce that all code associated with the Goldfinch protocol is now fully open source, including the front-ends. You can view the repo here. For months, the Goldfinch smart contract code has already been open source. But that was just the smart contracts and associated audits. Today, we’re open sourcing everything. This means the entire mono repo, including the deploy code, frontends, cloud functions, tests, etc. We welcome the broader development community to build Goldfinch with us, together.

How Do I Get Involved?

There’s a few good ways to get involved.

  • Create issues: We’ll use Github Issues to track work and ideas. If you have concrete suggestions on things to improve or bugs to fix, then feel free to create an issue.
  • Write code: Even better than creating issues is fixing them! The README has instructions on how to get your dev environment setup. We’ll use GitHub issues for tracking ideas and bugs and work to do. Before writing code, make sure you’ve created an issue and there’s buy in from experienced community members on your proposed solution.
  • Join the conversation: We have a dev channel in our Discord. If you have questions or just want to bounce around ideas, then the dev channel is a good place to go!
