Emirates Golf Club and Jones the Grocer

The 30 year-old golf club with a strong membership base has been iteratively changing its model over the years with the growth of Dubai. The club will make another transformative leap again in 2017, launching a Jones the Grocer outlet on the ground floor of the clubhouse to replace the Spike Bar and Restaurant. The popular Australian café, which is especially well-known for its breakfasts, is due to open later this year.

This demonstrates a golf club not afraid to evolve with the times, with the new outlet featuring an indoor/outdoor eat-in restaurant as well as a “grab-and-go” counter to pick up a range of snacks, sandwiches, coffees and a range of artisan groceries for customers to take home.

The Address Montgomerie Dubai and Audi

The Dubai-based golf resort with its 21 boutique hotel rooms is constantly raising the bar in terms of hospitality standards to wow its guests. In enters a partnership with Audi who are the Official Vehicle of the golf resort property and offer a premium golf day out marketed as the Audi Golf Experience. For AED 1,000+ depending on the time of year, golfers can enjoy pick-up / drop-off chauffeur service from their residences and hotels in Dubai, 18 holes of golf, food and beverage.

Nikanti Golf Club’s All Inclusive Experience and Sixes

Located in Bangkok, Nikanti Golf Club opened in 2014 and is designed by Pirapon Namata. The golf course features three six-hole loops that make up the 18 hole layout, each unique in their own right. Holes 6, 12 and 18 all return to the clubhouse giving golfers the flexibility to play as many holes as their schedule permits in this fast paced time-crunch world we live in. Furthermore, it gives the golf operations team the ability to stagger three-tee starts to optimize peak playing hours and fulfill the high demand for golf on weekends.

The golf club has also launched with a first-of-its-kind all inclusive offering with the customer paying one daily fee which includes green fee, caddy, cart as well as meals and soft drinks throughout the day. This cashless environment allows for the customer to better focus on the experience without worrying about the tab.
