In this post we want to show you some of the new features of Gooba 2.0, the new version with a new design and new features that make Gooba the best (and free) choice to take notes with a device.

Two months ago, after weeks of sketches, lists and tests, our team was able to begin developing Gooba 2.0. Gooba’s founder has dedicated all his time to give a new life to this project.

Let’s have a look at the best new features that we like most:

Lightning Design

Announced at the beginning of November after months of production, Lightning Design is the most advanced and most beautiful design language ever developed for mobile and desktop platforms.

Subscriptions*

For a long time we wondered what function, besides taking notes, could have been perfect for Gooba. After some tests of other ideas, here comes the definitive one: Subscriptions. Stop writing subscriptions (like Spotify Premium, Amazon Prime, Netflix…) in a note. Now there is a function and a screen to do this. With Gooba 2.0 your subscriptions can be kept under control.

Drag & Drop

Drag & Drop feature running on iPad

Drag & Drop is one of iOS 11 features. From now on, if you have an iPad or iPhone with iOS 11 you can drag text or images directly to Gooba. Taking notes will be even simpler!

Profile tab

Gooba becomes smarter and more customizable. Now there is a section dedicated exclusively for your profile and for the app customization. You can change your name, add your profile picture, change plan (if you are a company), and change your app settings (some features will come in the next updates). All these operations can be done from a simple and complete tab. You will have everything in one screen.

These are some of the fantastic improvements that will be in the new update. You just have to wait for the next few weeks to test personally Gooba 2.0.

*’Subscriptions’ feature is still in beta, so it is not yet complete.
