I think this is one of those things that is obvious in retrospect but counterintuitive to our culture that pretends you should be 100% stoked and ready to dent the universe at every moment.

By contrast, there’s a lot to be said for how you power up your consciousness to explore the dots between ideas in a more mellow way.
