2017 Mercedes-Benz GLA facelift launched at INR 30.65 lakh

Mercedes-Benz makes it’s seventh launch in India this year with the 2017 GLA facelift at a starting price of INR 30.65 lakh (ex-showroom). Colour options include Jupiter Red, Cirrus White, Mountain Grey, Polar Silver and Canyon Beige.

Few changes have been made to the SUV. Changes in the front end include new bumper, modified grille and LED headlamps with DRLs. Bumpers have been changed and the LED taillights have also been modified on the rear end. The Side profile remains the same. New 18-inch alloys are also on the offer.

On the inside the SUV is equipped with a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Safety features offered include ABS EBD, ESP, driver attention assist, traction control and 6 airbags. An ambient lighting system is also on offer with 12 colour choices. Navigation is offered on option. AWD system is standard for the 220d.

Same engines are continued with the new GLA — A 2.1L, 4-cylinder, turbocharged diesel, rated at 136 HP & 300 Nm of torque and 170 HP & 350 Nm of torque, for 200d and 220d respectively. The petrol variant gets a 2L, 4-cylinder engine rated at 183 HP & 300 Nm of torque. These engines are paired with a 7G-DCT (dual clutch transmission).

Unlimited mileage service pack for the SUV starts at Rs. 49000 and the extended warranty package starts at Rs. 37500.
