2018 Ford Freestyle pricing and variants explained

Ford launched the much awaited Freestyle cross-over utility vehicle in India yesterday. Featuring a range of new technology, features and design elements, the Freestyle has made a strong first impression in one of the fastest growing segments in the country.

The Freestyle comes with two engine options: the new 1.2-litre Dragon series petrol engine or the existing 1.5-litre diesel engine. Both are mated to a new lightweight and sporty 5-speed manual transmission designed to deliver a more enjoyable, yet economical driving experience.

Freestyle Ambiente: Petrol — Rs. 5.09 Lakh, Diesel — Rs. 6.09 Lakh

Few would have expected the Freestyle to be priced so aggressively given the range of new technology and features on offer. In fact, the Freestyle is priced only at a slight premium to the Figo on which its based, which could entice customers even more.
