2018 Honda Jazz launched in India

Honda has launched the 2018 Jazz in India at a starting price of INR 7.35 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi), with minor changes to the exteriors and updated features. It is offered in 4 petrol variants (Manual transmission and CVT) and 3 diesel variants. There are also 2 new colour schemes — Radiant Red and Lunar Silver Metallic.

On the outside, the new jazz gets a gloss black grille with a chrome accent & circular fog lamps at the front, LED tail lamps extended on to the tailgate and chrome door handles.

Honda offers features like a 7-inch Digipad 2 touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and Bluetooth connectivity, engine start/stop button, front armrest, Honda Smart key with keyless remote, electric ORVMs with indicators, cruise control and driver side vanity mirror. The company has also made improvements in reducing Noise and Vibration levels.

Honda is offering safety features like ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, speed sensing auto door lock and rear parking sensors as standard.

The 2018 Jazz is powered by the same 1.2L, 4-cylinder petrol engine, rated at 89 BHP @ 6000 rpm & 110 Nm of torque @ 4800 rpm, paired with a 5-speed MT or CVT, and the 1.5L, 4-cylinder diesel engine producing 99 BHP @ 3600 rpm & 200 Nm of torque @ 1750 rpm, paired with a 6-speed MT.
