2018 Mercedes-AMG S 63 Coupé launched

Mercedes-Benz India has launched the AMG powered 2018 S 63 Coupé in India at a price of INR 2.55 Crore (ex-showroom India).

The 2 door Coupé is powered by a 4.0 L V8 bi-turbo engine producing 603 HP power and a whopping 900 Nm of torque mated to a 9 speed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9G transmission that will accelerate the car from 0 to 100 in mere 3.5 seconds. The new 4.0 L V8 engine in the vehicle churns out 26 more horse power than its predecessor, which hosted a 5.5 L V8 engine. Top speed is limited to 300 km/hr.

The S 63 Coupé is fitted with the controllable AMG Performance exhaust system as standard which ensures a great exhaust sound note experience. The infinitely adjustable flaps modulate the exhaust note authentically and directly based on the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT or on individual preferences. driving mode. The car also comes with AMG Cylinder Management, AMG speed-sensitive steering, AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension with variable damper control and AMG Driving modes.

Mercedes is also offering the car with a suite of radar-based safety equipment such as Active Distance Assist DISTRONIC, Active Steering Assist, Active Braking Assist and Blind Spot Assist.
