CARMA. launches CarMatch Mobile App for Android

We take immense pride in announcing the launch of our first mobile application — CarMatch. This is one step forward in our mission to be the end to end solutions provider in the automotive space.

CarMatch is designed to help new car buyers understand the best cars for them in the market by taking a whole new user oriented approach. The algorithms powering the app understands the user’s profile and preferences and recommends the best 5 cars that suit their preferences and budget.

The algorithms are based on our team’s score for every car and respective variants that are also available in every car’s profile on the app.

CarMatch packs a bunch of features that helps users understand their best fit cars.

1. The CarMatcher

With the CarMatcher feature, users can rate their preferences over 11 parameters like Safety, Design, Driving Enthusiasm, Rear Seat comfort, Fuel Economy etc on a scale of 1 to 5 and also indicate their budget and other specifications. Once the button “Match” is hit, the app runs a well tuned algorithm that fetches the best cars based on those preferences and budget. The results go in-depth to recommend not just the best model but the best variant as well.

2. Read My Mind

The Read My Mind feature is designed for users who do not feel comfortable rating parameters. Though this feature, the application takes an alternative route to figuring out the best 5 cars for the users by probing their mind.

3. Save and Share Lists

Since a decision to buy a car can stretch from just a couple of days to, maybe even a year, the application encourages users to save the lists of best recommended cars that the algorithm fetches on their phones. These saved lists can also be accessed through the user’s login from other devices.

Users can also choose to share the list of recommended cars with their friends on social media and get their opinions.

4. Transparent scoring patterns for every car

CarMatch’s algorithms are based on the team’s meticulous rating for every car on various parameters. CarMatch displays the score card for all the cars so as to give the user an idea of the car’s strengths and weaknesses.

5. Car Profiles and Test Drive

Users can choose to view more information about the cars — features, specifications, scores and prices. The application also hosts a gallery of images that provides a 360* view of the car.

If interested, users can also choose to request a test drive from a dealership based in their city

6. Curated Lists

The team also carefully selects and handpicks the contents of curated lists of cars which makes it easier for users to also find what they want.
