F1: Facile win for Sebastian Vettel,Iceman’s record comes to an end!

Three Time world Champion Sebastian Vettel wins Belgian Gran Prix by a whooping 16.8 sec margin!!

The German came in with all cylinders firing when he overtook pole sitter Lewis Hamilton on the climb up towards Les Combes which was a non DRS zone.The entire grid made it safe through the first corner and Eau Rouge.Fernando Alonso made a remarkable stride from 9th position in the starting grid to finishing 2nd on the podium.The win now gives reigning World champion 46-point lead over his closest competitor Fernando Alonso.

Pole sitter Lewis Hamilton had to settle with third place on the podium,While his teammate at Mercedes Nico Rosberg finished a fighting fourth who was given a tough competition by Mark Webber at the end which turned uneventful though.As usual Mark Webber had a poor start which made the RBR driver lose two position from his qualifying position to finish fifth at the chequered flag.

Kimi Raikkonen record-breaking run of consecutive points finishes(38) came to a tragic end when he struggled with the brakes on his Lotus and finally lost braking power at the bus-stop chicane.

The Bus-Stop chicane saw more action when Pastor Maldonado, Esteban Gutierrez and Force India’s Adrian Sutil and Paul di Resta entangling themselves in wheel to wheel action which led to ripping of rear wheels and rear wing off the Paul di Resta car. As a result, Maldonado was handed a ten second Stop and Go penalty.

From the Back markers Daniel Ricciardo, who is almost certain of a Red Bull seat next season showed impressive strides by recovering his poor Qualifying to score a point with tenth.
