Ford Aspire Sports Edition launched in India

Ford has launched the Aspire Sports Edition in India. The Aspire gets little cosmetic updates and a re-modified suspension. Compared to the normal Titanium trims, the sports edition costs Rs. 34000 higher.

This compact sedan offers two engine options — a 1.2L, 4-cylinder petrol engine, developing 87 BHP & 113 Nm and a 1.5L diesel engine that develops 99 BHP & 215 Nm of torque which will be paired to a 5-speed manual.

The Aspire Sports gets a smokey, sweptback headlamps. Though the front gets the same grille as the regular model, the horizontal slats have been blacked out. It also gets a new 15-inch silver tone alloy wheels.

The Sport Edition comes with an all-black cabin, leather wrapped steering wheel. It borrows all features from the regular Titanium variants.

The colour options offered on the Sports Edition include — Ruby red, Sparkling Gold, Oxford White, Tuxedo Black, Ingot Silver, Deep Impact Blue and Smoke Grey.
