According to reports, Ford India is planning to launch the top spec EcoSport Titanium S in the country soon. The Titanium S variant is distinguished by a new look brought on by a number of cosmetic updates and also comes with a few new features.

On the outside, the Titanium S gets a blackened front grille and front skid plate, black roof and roof rails, black rear spoiler and gunmetal finish 17" alloy wheels, lending it an aggressive appearance.

The interiors have been updated too with the addition of an orange grab bar, seat covers with orange inserts, orange accented centre console and door panels, sunroof and chrome inserts around the tachometer and speedometer. The Titanium also gets a larger 4.2" multi-function instrument display and the SYNC3 infotainment system is likely to come with navigation enabled.

While the engine options remain unchanged, the Titanium S will come with a 6-speed manual transmission instead of the standard 5-speed gearbox found on other variants.

The introduction of the Titanium S follows on the heels of recent revisions by Ford that have seen the rejigging of features and prices across all variants of the EcoSport, as explained here.

Ford is clearly moving to consolidate its dominant position in the compact SUV space and with the raft of updates being offered, now could be a great time to get the EcoSport. Head on over to CarPal to check out the latest prices, request a test drive or make a booking!
