Ford Figo Facelift: What changes?

The Ford Figo is going to receive a facelift very soon and we have personally clicked these pictures of the test mules. You might remember our earlier post of a canary yellow Figo caught by our friends from MotorVikatan and IAB. However, looks like Ford India is keen on adding new colors to the Figo as well. One of these test mules was painted in some sort of aquatic blue. This means that there are going to be a minimum of two new colors on the updated Figo.

Getting down to business

What exactly is going to change? We have studied these photos carefully and can comment on the following:

Exterior:

1. The front indicators integrated in the headlamp appear to be positioned below the headlamp. In the current Figo, the indicator is positioned above the headlamp. This also agrees with the new Ford design language as seen on the new Fiesta. We think the Figo will have a similar headlamp layout as the new Fiesta: indicators on the inside and bottom and a kink towards the edge of the cluster.

2. We found that the Figo seems to have a new tail-lamp order. In the current Figo, the indicators are placed at the top while the brake light is positioned at the bottom. In the updated Figo, we found that the brake lamp was on top and since the vehicle was braking quitea few times, we can confirm seeing the lights.

3. A new blue color apart from the yellow color seems to be making its way as indicated in the above image.

Interior:

No change in interior was visible. The test mules were the top end Titanium models. The music system remains the same as the current version. Also, there is no climate control on offer. While it was reported earlier that a Keyless entry and Go would be available, we were unable to spot the button. On the right hand side of the gearlever, there was just the familiar 12V charging socket already found on the car.
