Honda has announced a recall for 7,920 units of the New Amaze, manufactured between 17th April 2018 and 24th May 2018, for inspection and replacement of the car’s Electric-assist Power Steering sensor harness.

The Japanese manufacturer has said that the owners of the vehicle might see the EPS warning indicator turned on and might feel the steering to be heavier than normal. The inspection will be carried out as a precautionary measure and if necessary the EPS unit will be replaced, free of cost, at the Honda authorized dealerships across India from 26th July, 2018.

The owners of the New Amaze will be contacted individually by the dealers or they can also check Here if their vehicles fall in the recalled batch, by entering the 17-character alpha-numeric Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the website of Honda.
