Hyundai will be launching its new hatchback, codenamed AH2, on 23rd October, 2018. The official name of this upcoming hatchback will be announced on 9th October 2018. Though the Prefix will be Santro, the suffix is currently being chosen through a country wide contest, where the fans get to decide a name for it. This contest ends on September 25, 2018.

As it is based on the previous i10’s HA platform, the hatchback will have a tall-boy design. It is also expected to come with a well designed cabin. The top-end variants are expected to get a touchscreen infotainment system and a dash-mounted gear knob is likely to be offered. Standard features expected to be offered are the Dual front airbags, ABS and rear parking sensors.
