Hyundai unveils the new gen Santro.

Hyundai Motors unveiled the all new Santro today in India. The company will be launching this new hatchback on 23rd October, 2018. This legendary hatchback, built on a new platform, gets the modern tallboy design and comes with first-in-segment features.

The new Santro measures 3,610 mm in length, 1,645 mm in width and 1,560 mm in height and with a wheel base of 2400 mm. On the front, it features the Cascade Grille with Chrome surround, swept back headlamps and huge fog lamps. Hyundai also offers a 17.64 cm Touchscreen Audio Video System with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay , Mirror Link with voice recognition & Rear Parking Camera display and Smart Phone connectivity, which is a first-in-segment feature by itself, in the new Santro.

The interiors get the dual-tone theme with Beige-Black being the standard color, while other dual-tone color options are expected to be offered. It features the Best-in-Class AC with First-in-Segment Rear AC vents. The hatchback is also equipped with the Hyundai Patented ‘Eco Coating Technology’. This feature prevents the development of unpleasant odour in the AC Evaporator by degrading the micro-organisms. Driver’s Airbag and ABS with EBD are the standard safety features on offer.

Santro will be offered with 3 Years / 100,000 kms warranty and 3 years Road Side Assistance with Hyundai offers the lowest maintenance cost with doorstep service facility.

Powering the all new Santro will be the 1.1 L, 4-cylinder, Petrol engine making 68 HP & 99 Nm of torque. This engine is tuned well for high fuel efficiency and superior performance. It is also the first Hyundai model to offer the in-house developed SmartAuto AMT Technology. The hatchback will also come with a factory fitted CNG option that makes 59 HP & 84 Nm of torque.

Bookings for The All New Santro will be accepted from 10th October, 2018 with a token amount of Rs. 11,100 for the first 50,000.
